Johnny was born in California u.s.a. The land of the fee, home of the slave.Into a normal american white trash family. Mom drove Pa to alcoholism then left him. As a result johnny grew up as a bastard with his uptight mother.At 13 he got his first stratocaster and started out playing a mix of punk, noise and folk music. At 14 discovered the Grateful Dead and hitchhiking.At 19 he left the west coast to travel and find his roots.After some months begging around he ended with his fathers family in Kansas city, Missouri.In Kansas city he understood about the blues and how to play them also.After some years of Kansas City, including some university study, being an ice cream man, dead shows and playing in bands Mr. Distortion decided it was time to hit the road and visit Europe.After some years of travelling around as a street musician with a back pack and guitar he setled in Biel Switzerland. he is now stationed there.
